I had the same problem with my gen. 2 Camry. Not sure if this'll work for your genereation of Camry, but what I did was jack up the car, take off the tire, and take off the caliper. There should be 2 thin little metal plates, which are called anti-squeal shims (hmmmmmmmm ). At least on mine there were. What I found out was that the front driver's side (where the squealing was coming from) was missing the anti-squeal shims, whereas the passenger's side had them and did not squeal. I went to my local Toyota dealership and had them order me some and when I put them on the problem stopped. Hope this helps some! (Oh, and check your brake pads. If they're worn, replace 'em! This too could also be the problem!)

For everything else, there's paper bags!
