Camry/ES 300 question

Hey, I'm not too educated about these 2 cars but I was looking into purchasing an older Lexus ES300 for a daily driver. My question is how similar are the 2 cars??? can I use cheaper Camry parts to repair the ES300 (as in mechanical parts)???
Sorry for the noob questions I just don't want to spend big bucks just to maintain and keep the Lexus on the road.

you can use ALMOST ALL of the engine parts from the v6 camry.

The 3vz engine is used in both and many of the parts are the exact same.

What about suspension components?? brakes??

i would think they would be the same (if not very similar), both cars are built on the same chassis.
