Frankly, my first concerns are mainly cosmetic. The things that might get damaged (or stolen) during delivery. Don't pick the car up at night, pick it up when you can look at it in the sun and check for paint blemishes, scratches and dings, damaged lenses, glass. Stand back and look along the sides and across the hood, trunk and top. While they may repair a scratch after a day they may also say that you scratched it after you drove off. Same with interior damage and the like.
Any actual mechanical or car problems will be fixed under waranty.
Another thing that I am fond of checking are the fluid levels. They are easy to check and if they are low (very unlikely) it throws up a red flag. It also lets you ask the rep where they are if you can't find them. Same with any electronics. If you don't know how to use them get the rep to explain it at delivery, they are usually much happier to work with you then. If the dealership offers to give you an introductory session take them up on it.
