New Camry Quality comparison

What do you think about the Mechanica and the interior fit and finish quality and the long term reliability of the 07 (Gen 6 Camry). Please provide reasons for your selection:

1) Better than the Gen 5 and the Gen 4
2) Better than Gen 5 but not as good as Gen 4
3) Better than Gen 4 but not as good as Gen 5
4) Both Gen 4 and Gen 5 Camrys are much better built and will turn out to be more relaibe then the present gen Camry.

I can't give you a complete opinion on the 2007's because i dont own one, mines a 2002. Even so, i have read so many posts from people having problems with their 2007 models that i have ruled this model year out from future consideration, even as a used car. If i were buying another camry right now - i'd get an older model, or wait to see if the 2008's are any better.

Consumer Reports magazine, etc. and the various car "quality indexes", and Toyota will say whatever they say, but i'll trust someone's comments on TN over whatever comes from any of them. And if a whole lot of people are saying here that their brand new 2007 is causing them grief, i believe em!

I rented one when my gen 3 was in a wreck -- RIP

I didn't like the 07 camry at all -- it was huge, bulky and the drive by wire had so much hesiitation it felt like a different car.

I did like the interior as well as the style of the interior. The radio looks a lot better, but there can be changes made still.

speakers are decent and the ride as far as the seats, they are comfortable.
