Undercarriage Question.

So "S" series engines and "Z" series engines have different undercarriages correct? (different as in motor mount position?) For example a 5sfe and a 3mzfe have different undercarriages supporting them? If so... Does anyone know where i can pick up a gen 4 undercarriage without the motor attached to it around san diego area?

No...they should be the same if you're talking about the subframe on the actual car.

then you should only need the motor mounts themselves to bolt up to the subframe. it seems that the camry's basic frame/chassis (both gen 3 and 4) were designed and produced to be used for all the models- 4cyl/v6 and auto/manual

but best to get somebody with both subframes to take pictures

Because as of right now i have a 5sfe undercarriage, trying to put in the 3mz-fe and it looks as thought the front motor mount and the wishbone mount line up... But the mount closest to the firewall doesnt... It need to be more towards the pasenger side rear corner. Yeah i should try and find someone with pictures because the back corner mount isnt lining up. Any idea if the gen 5 undercarriages are the same too ? I mean they did bring over the 1mz to the 5th gen.
