wtf, my friends 92 camry with WAY More milage than me beat me from starting line, i have a fckn 94 camry le, with like 129 K , we both are I4 engines, wtf? how the hell do i improve my shit

like you hint to, driver ability and performance plays a bit role, he might be getting really good launches, maybe you're not doing it right,

or maybe your camry's showing some age, mileage isn't the be all end all, you might have lower compression than him, maybe your spark plugs are fouled, different octane gas? have you got a ton of stuff in your trunk? a big heavy useless system?

his is all stock, mine, i have nothing in the trunk, i use 94 octane gas, which is like 2$ per gallon,
fck, ya maybe my sparkplugs...

Turn off your airconditioning.

I kept getting beaten by my mates in shitty 1.5 hatchbacks untill i discovered that if my aircon was off I doubled by power (not really, it sure felt like it though)
