there are only altezzas for the gen4.5 camry, the last 2 years: 2000 and 2001 i believe

no altezzas for the gen4 as far as im aware of, cause toyota modded the lights for the gen4.5's; they are different from the gen4's

notice the altezzas have that slant..gen4's dont have that, so they won't fit..

here we go:

Gen4.0 = 1997 to 1999
Gen4.5 = 2000 to 2001

only thing that I have seen has been clear tail corners, but those are very VERY rare. There is one place called autodynamics that sells them, but they've been sold out for months.

Good choice to leave the tails alone. Tail lights in general aren't worth the money. You could do much better things with that $100 or so. I'm not trying to start a war about them or anything, just my 2 cents.

but ya gotta admit, the gen4.5 altezzas are very different from the stock ones.. so if the person likes it, it's only like $109, with a huge difference in looks..

anyway..

Oh so very true, but........ I'm thinking my pearl 3x clearcoated paint job will do the apperance justice too. I am actually sick of the Alteza thing anyhow its on everycar you can imagine. Hell next thing is peeps are gonna want them for thier Metro or Taurus. Ya I think I'll leave it alone, possibly even going with some custom job like Corvette or Supra tails (hahahahaha bad joke) no really maybe some tricked out led thing. Who knows only time and money will tell. thanks for the imput tho.

Everytime I see a Civic, I just look at the back tail lights for Altezzas. 90% of the Civics I see with teenage/early 20s drivers in them have Altezzas. Almost all normal Civics I see are older people who have Civics because they're econo cars.

When I was in NY, I saw them on Yukons, it looked horrible. Most don't even copy the style correctly, they just put a clear housing with red over wherever the lights were originally. A real Altezza copy would arrange the lights differently, which I would give some credit for but still probably wouldn't like.
