They both came out in the same year. So my question is: Is there any big difference in the suspension between the two? What about brakes? Any input would be grateful. Thanks..
Originally posted by Stealth I would think the brakes and suspension would be the same as the non all-trac versions of the cars, so they should probably be different.
Huh? How can it be the same and different at the same time?
The suspension setup on the all-trac versions are different. Theres a rearend (differential, driveshaft, etc..) on the all-trac.

You've never been working on a car, and said, I worked on car a, and this is very much like car a, so it must be the same.. only to find out later it isn't? Stealth is just joking.. you'd THINK they would be the same.. its logical.. which is probably why they aren't the same.

Same as any other generation 2 camry.
But yes, sounds like they're totally different then. The all-trac has a different suspension from the fwd camry also correct? Well, I know the struts are different. The springs are probably the same, or closely. Shocks? I'll probably end up doing a celica suspension conversion. Aftermarket support will probably be better that way.
Oh hmm.. Well I see how you found my post confusing, and I wasn't joking either. I was saying that the all-trac camry probably has the same suspension as the normal camry, and the all-trac turbo celica has the same as the normal celica. I was saying they were different as in the camry and celica have different suspension.

Instead of the 5th generation celica, what bout the 4th generation celicas? I know they're probably totally different from camry's, but theres gotta be something there.
And illGT4 is right, the all trac vs the base models of the celicas are a lil different. In most cases though, I'm sure its almost a direct bolt on/swap.
