Best Trans fluid...

Hey, I'm wondering about my trans...When I'm driving, and I floor it, or even when im driving normal, when it shifts it seems rather jerky, not smooth...sometimes its smooth but it requires the right touch to the gas. I heard about changing your trans fluid to fix it...before it goes on me. What is the best trans fluid i could use to possibly smooth out my shifting...thanks!

if your camry can take Dexron type fluids, I would suggest Mobil 1 trannie fluid (http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lub...ntheticATF.asp)

just do a COMPLETE fluid flush and replace the filter and gasket and you should feel the difference

Any premium synthetic tranny fluid should do.

I'm using Redline Hi-Temp myself. Some other choices include Royal Purple and Amsoil.

You can take it to a shop that has a tranny flush machine. It pumps in new fluid while the oil fluid is pumped out.

You can also do a flush yourself with 2 buckets, some vacumm hose, and alot of tranny fluid. I won't go into how to do this cos its been explained before and I don't feel like typing everything out, so use the search button if your interested.

If you just do a drain and fill you'll only get about 3 quarts out. Theres still fluid left in the torque converter.
