Installed 3gen AEM CAI (beware 56k'ers)

Well I got my AEM 3gen cai yesterday and installed it this evening. I was a tad bit dissapointed as how the fitment was compared to my E.L. Prototypes Camry 1mzfe cai but Im still a happy camper. The AEM one had problems with the inlet portion of the MAF sensor. The tubing and hoses that connected to the MAF sensor were much bigger and the same size as the outlet portion of the MAF sensor. So I solved that by simply clamping the hose that connected with the inlet of the MAF as tight as I could to prevent it from falling apart. My EL prototypes has two different tube and hose sizes to accomadate the inlet and outlet portion of the MAF sensor so it was perfect as far as fitting goes. The AEM one was a very tighter fit (obviously because of the bigger tube size) so it took longer than I expected. Total of about an hour to finish. I then took it for a little drive and couldnt tell any performance difference between my old EL prototypes cai and the AEM. So far im pretty happy just because the AEM one looks alot better.

Some pics......

-Another comparison pic (practically same size length wise)

-And........AFTER!

I got that in and it is a little louder than stock for normal driving, but when its at WOT at 5-6K its pretty loud and sweet.. Its a fun addition.. and as far as the MAF problem.. I didn't notice anything when I installed mine..
