no why do you guys mod your camrys ??? If you think this way...
yea im tryin to mod my camry so i can be different on the streets n no drive it into a 5 foot puddle so why ask why?
subaru=dirt n watever u think of
camry=pavement
i've seen people take any car into a rally race. it doesn't have to be a subaru wrx sponsored by subaru themselves just to race in a rally. if u mod ur car right and put in the right safety equipment and pass whatever regulations in that sanctioning body, u can race in teh rally. that guy probably took care to seal up whatever is vulnerable to water. just cuz its a camry doesn't mean he can't do what he wants with it. if he decides to one day jack it up and put on huge wheels and enter it into monster truck competitions, then let him, if it satisfies him then so be it
Nah, you just have to mod it right. I'm not speaking from experience here cause I didn't get to drive through any puddles or anything, and I in no way did anything to my car prior to driving in rally-x.
I think the issue is the subarus are more set up to do that sort of thing direct from the factory. Camrys aren't. In fact, they're not set up do drive on dirt at all. However, if you're willing to put some money and effort into it, why not? Personally I don't think Saturns look right in rally, but I've seen 'em. So why not a Camry?
I am ALMOST P O S I T I V E that is a Gen 3 front end, it might be Photoshopped so, I don't know, but regardless, the front is a Gen 3 Camry, not a Subaru, not a Legacy, def. not a Brat, def. not a WRX/ WRX STi, def. not a Forester, def. not a Imprezza, not a Baha, and not anyother Subaru. The only thing that makes me question that picture in my mind is the back part of the car. Look at how the rear window curves, it looks fake... nice photochop tho, but I don't think it ever happened now that I look closer that pic. I dunno tho. Who really gives a shit?
