if you just got bulbs its very easy. I hope your talkin about just xenon bulbs and not a full HID conversion kit...but hopefully this is what ur lookin for.

Pop your hood, and in the back of each headlight assembly you will see a harness attatched to the bulb going into the headlight assembly. Simply twist the bulb to unlock it from the assembly and place new bulb into socket like a plug. Then insert the new bulb back into the assembly just like you took it out, and voila, you have new headlights. Hope that helped.

k well the back of my light i found the harness but it's connected to the lightbulb inside a rubber boot. inside there is also a clip that clips down the lightbulb between the bulb and the rubber boot which is screwed down to the reflector housing

you don't need to take off that little pin holding the housing together (besides its held by glue as well) just turn the lightbulb til it is free to come out...its simple a turn and lock mechanism.

Wierd... this question has come up twice in the past week or so

Go to the back of the headlight, find the wires, follow them to the harness/socket, turn the socket 1/4 turn counter clock wise (the only way it will turn) and pull it out.
There is a tab you need to press to get the bulb off the harness.

The only thing you shouldn't do is touch the glass of the bulb. Your skin oils could make it shatter when it heats up.

If you already have touched it, wash it off with water, a paper towel and a tiny drop of dish soap.

Are you guys talking about the gen 3 lights or gen 4's cuz they use different lights. The gen3's have 2 bulbs one for low beam and one for high beam. The gen 4's not gen 4.5 use the H4 lights.
I have the gen3 camry manual and it doesn't look the same

ok youre gonna have to take out that screw holding down that metal clip. remove the metal clip that holds it down to the housing. once you take out the clip, twist it and both the harness and the bulb should come out.

dont wash a lightbulb with water, use either distilled water, or rubbing alcohol.

I dind't wanna be rough with the parts so i didn't twist too hard.. am i supposed to use alot of force or should it be fairly easy to twist.

i've been busy and i think i'll get some time tonight to tinker around i'll post if i figure it out, so far i've heard that you twist after you take all the shit out but my friend has a civic which has h4's and the mounthing system sounds the same as the cam and he says you just pull the harness straight out so i'll try both ways and post when i get everything done

you don't need to remove any screw, if you have the owner's manual it should tell you how.
I had a gen4 camry before.it uses H4 bulb, hope you get the right one, unless you have a gen 4.5 camry...
this is how you change the headlight
1. Unplug the connector (pull on it, not twisting it), and remove the rubber cover (just pull it off)
2. Release the bulb retaining spring, take out the bulb and put in the new one
(NO twisting required, the spring held the bulb there)
3. Reinstall the rubber cover, connect the connector..

People!! he has a H4 bulb, stop telling him to twist the bulb .. that's for gen 4.5 9006 or 9005 bulb
