Alright.. before i start.. i'll warn u all.. i dont know very much about cars nor car headlights.
Anwyays... I 've been reading all night about the silverstars and i'm wondering if the silverstar 9005 would be a good choice for my 97 camry and would they fit, or should I go with the 9006 (but i dont really like tinkering with things and I read that it would b nessasary for me to change a few things on the light if I were to go with the 9006).
Also.. how long would it take for me to install these on my own?

Like EKam said, '97-'99 uses H4/9003 bulbs, and '00-'01 uses 9006 and 9005. If you aren't sure about what bulb types you have, don't even try to replace them.
The H4/9003 uses single bulb-dual filament for both high and low beams. The 9006 & 9005 are both single bulb, single filament types.
ok.. so from this list: Silverstar list , which one would i get? or should i just not get it at all.... sorry for the dumb questions =/ ... BE PATIENT WITH ME PLZ!!..heh
Silverstars sucks a$$. I been thru 3 sets in about a year and 2 months and I finally gave up on it and went back to my stock bulbs.. yes I really loved em at first and recommended them to everybody.. but if ya got the time and money to change them every 4-6 months then yeah they are worth it.
That page you linked seemed like an order page, so I can't view it. It's up to you to decide if you want to get them or not. I actually had the Cool Blues for about 2 years before they burnt out, and they're bright enough for me.
For 3 years I've only replaced one silverstar outta the four I have (9005 & 9006) and I'm running the 9005 bulbs modded in place of the 9006 low beams to get a shit load more light.
I give them

Thnx alot for the help guys.. i really appreciate it... i've decided to go out and buy some silverstars.. i really need brighter lights since i mostly do night driving.
The options i have are: (from what I gathered I need to use the 9003/H4's)
9003 ST : Max watts: 65/72
H4651 ST : Max. 55
H4656 ST : Max. 65/43
H4666 ST : Max. 60/70
I have a '98 Camry w/the same headlights - H4/9003...
I installed Silverstars and they burned out on both sides w/in 9 months. I didn't know it, but Sylvania only expects them to last a year under normal use, so I guess my experience wasn't too bad. But, in my opinion, it's not worth it to buy bulbs that are ~$50/pr every nine months. So, I bought the Sylvania XtraVisions, which are basically the same bulb as the SilverStar with a different tint so they're not as white. I have a much easier time rationalizing those at $25/pr, even if they only last for nine months. Light output seems comprable to the SilverStars, just with a less white color...
I'm using the silverstar 9006 for my camry 2000, and i love them. They are really bright and white, and they make alot of difference especially when driving on the interstate at night (where there are hardly any lights). and they do look pretty close to the HID lights. But $50/pair? That seems rather high. you can get them for $40 at walmart, or off ebay (which i did) for about $30/pair shipped.

I was always curious to whether that is illegal? Have you had any problems with cops? People flashing there lights to tell you turn you high beams off? I wanted to do this but was kind of worried about legal issues. Thanks
Yeah, I'll agree the $50 is pretty expensive. Unfortunately, the Wal-Marts around me don't carry them. Seems to be a regional thing, and everything's more expensive in the North East to begin with. Online shopping is great for most things, but in the case of these bulbs, the shipping costs eat away at any cost savings...
