Question engine oil spray out from refill hole.

When I turn the engine on, and remove the engine oil refill cap, I noticed engine oil spray out from the engine oil refill hole. Is this normal? If this stands for the problem of engine, is it covered by the warranty?

My car is a 2000 camry with I-4 engine, it's still covered by the powertran warranty . I didn't observe any significant gas milage drop or lack of power.

Any suggestion or opinion is appreciated.

Thanks

first of all, why would you want to do that ?
doesn't seem logical to me... just turn your engine off when you refill...
now, it seems normal to me, after all your oil is being pumped around under pressure, right ?

Yeah, why are you doing this? At a minimum, it's an invitation to have dirty, unfiltered air drawn into the engine, where it can ultimately contaminate the oil. Second, the crankcase ventilation system is not designed to operate with the oil filler unsealed. The PCV valve, regardless of make or model, is sensitive to getting gummed up, and making it deal with dust, in addition to its normal contamination, would seem to be a recipe for trouble. Is there some benefit you see to opening the filler with the engine running? I don't see it.
