98 Toyota Camry Transmission
Hello everyone, Im new to this site so im looking for some help. I know for a fact you guys will be able to help me cuz i was reading most of the forum and i have to admit everyone here is really smart when it comes to toyota. For that i come to you for help. i have a 98 toyota camry which i have being having problems with my transmission. About 8 months ago, my gear (rpm) will go all the way to 4krpm do kick into first gear. The vehicle itself will race wit a loud noise then once there it will literally kick in, cuz i feel the car pushin forward not just myself but anyone in it. U can see the car bein pull everytime it changes into 2nd gear. It does do it a bit very lightly when it switch to the others. So back when i was on 125000, around there i decided to do a transmission oil flush, but it still having the same problems. I do not know if due to the transmission is the reason to why my car is real slow picking up speed, specially goin up hill and i mean slow, i have to push down well to go uphill. Anyhow, as far as i can read and find it looks like my car is shiftin gears late, which is what everyone has told me so far, but im lookin for a true reason. I heard my transmission modulator might be damage so im required to change it, but i dunno kno what it is or where is located. Can anyone help me please
Thank you;
