GM Synchromesh...to do or not to do...

Aiight, I've always tried to take the best care of my camry I can, I want this thing to last, and the engine (I think) is almost mint. Anyways, now I'm starting to think about the TLC of my trans. I do drive hard on it occasionally...well probably more than occasionally lol, but It still shifts smooth...but two of my friends cars just had their trans blow on them (be it that they were american cars mind you lol). This is not something I want to happen to me...and I've heard great things about the synchromesh trans fluid.

Basicly I wanna know if its worth it or not for me to go into this expense. What will it do for me? I went in to a GM dealer today and talked to the service guy about it, but he basicly said he'd never heard of neone with a camry (basicly imports) using it....so Now the question comes to you guys. Ne advice would be great! Thanks!

Mike

Do a search for this - there was a pretty detailed thread on this forums, complete with links to the sites that sell them and a tutorial.

I'm thinking of getting one myself, but would like to put a tranny temp gauge first to see if I actually need it
