Anyone know any good (cheap prices) shops to get a set of 17" Konig Tantrums (with 215-50-17 tires) for a Solara in the Greater Toronto Area??

Alternatively, you can buy my slightly used Enkei RS6s with 225-45-17 Michelin Pilot rubber. Although you asked for 215-50-17 tire size, 225-45-17 are also within specs. You'll also have much better choice of tires in 225-45-17.

Tantrums are a much older model (they have a new version of them now), and they're heavy as heck. By comparison, the RS6s are lighter than the Tantrums, and is a newer design. In addition, Enkei has a much better reputation as a wheel manufacturer than Konig.

If you're interested I can email some pics to you. They will look bada$$ on a Solara.

BTW, I'm in the GTA as well.

If yopu don't mind used and saving a few bucks, keep your eyes open at other local car forums in the "buy/sell section" and perhaps you'll stumble on a set like i did. Yes Jeff I got the rims! Thanks to you I am now broke and will be living off of cheap South Park food for a while :razz: "Imitation = flattery"

Dickson, I believe Jeff's mirrors are silver in colour, from a Golf? Yeah, I can paint my silver mirrors another shade of silver! :smile: We all got hand me down stuff from Jeff...I gots his spoiler, you got his mud guards, Phi's got his rims.... :grin: But I ever find some cheap mesh that looks like Jeff's, I will definitely bite his styles!
