Got any idea on how to make my back windows go down farther???

Ever notice how on many 4 door cars the back windows will never go down all the way like the front windows? WHY IS THAT??? Is there a stop in the window guide that wont let it go down farther or something?? I just wanna get rid of it, and i wanted to see if anyone on here knows how/what is stopping it, or if i can even help it!

Camry- Its a moms car dude, I love my Camry don't get me wrong, but this leads to the point why your windows don't go all the way down. I think its a child saftey thing. Im sure It can be modded to go down all the way, which reminds me...I need to take off my rear driver side panel and see what happened to my window. Good luck bro, If you find a way....let us know I would love to be able to drop all 4 down.

the reason why it cant go down is because of the rear fenderwell.

yup, if you step back and take a look at where the door curves up with the wheel well... theres no room left for the window to go down any further.

For what its worth...

When I was looking at a company truck I checked out the Chevy Trailblazer. The stock version the rear windows only go down 3/4 the way. However, on the EXT version, which the doors clear the rear fender, the windows go down all the way. I imagine most cars are like this as well, there simply isnt enough room with the fender in the door for it to go down all the way.
