Anyone know for sure if these sensors are the same for the Camry and Avalon, I would like to change my 16" for 17" wheels and would like to keep sensors with my 16" wheels and get new/used sensors for the 17" wheels. The part number given to me by my local dealer is 42607-06011, cost 112.07 ea. Thanks.
Yah thats not really a good idea, you have to register each of the sensors in the computer for the tire pressure sensors, i dont think you can have 9 sensors registered(4 each set of wheels +1 for spare), so everytime you switched wheels you would have to have the dealer re register the sensors. better off just swapping sensors
Thanks for the reply, I don't plan to go back to my old wheels once I get the SE wheels on. I was thinking I could sell my 16" wheels and tires easier. I know that I would have to get the dealer to delete the old numbers and replace with the new.
i was planning to put on snow tires for my camry se v6.
keeping my stock tires and wheels for spring and summer
and buying new winter rims and tires.
i called up local dealership and they recommend that i get new tpms.
they didn't mention any problems with syncing them with computer.
that is another 4 sensors.
does anyone have experience with this and can comment from experience?

Unless they are going to give new sensors for free just swap them to the winter tires. Its very easy to do.
