Lightbulb DRL (daytime running lights)

I have a 92 LE, I when i start the engine the lights go on, the head and the tail lights, I was wondering if it is possible to
disable day time tail lights, or disable DRL at all?

If you leave the lights on in a gen3 they turn on when the car starts and off when the engine is off and the drivers door is opened.

I think maybe the Canadian models (with DRL) probably have the rear tail lights on, along with the front lights, but the U.S. models only use the front lights.

For Canada, all cars after some year (like late 80's or so) have DRL's...it's the law here.

However, I believe the earlier Gen3's had DRL for both front and back and the later ones only had it for the front.

I heard the reason for all the lights coming on for the earlier Gen3 was because it was just easier to wire it up to the parking lights for DRL's then to do all this other stuff....
