Question Will a Lexus grille fit a Camry?

Will the grille from a late model Lexus ES300 (or ES330) fit a Gen 5 Camry? Is it a perfect bolt-on fit?

I haven't compared the two cars in person but it sure looks like (from pictures of the Lexus ES300/330) that the hood lines are identical. And since the latest generation ES300/330 is almost identical (bodywise) to the Camry Gen 5 I would think the grilles might interchange perfectly.

I wonder how I can find out (if the grilles will interchange) without actually buying one and trying it. Any ideas?

Judging by these pictures, I don't think it would be a direct fit:

yeah, i don't think it would fit. However, u could try switching hoods. I think it might not fit perfectly with the headlights, but if you're getting it cheap, might as well try.

if you are trying to do what i am you can probably just contact www.classicsofttrim.com and ask about the billet grille they have for the gen 5 camry in their type-s package. i forget how much they charge but i think its under $300US. also you can try doing a search for billet grilles here.

I highly doubt that you can change just the grill...You would most prob have to change the fenders/bumpercover/hood for the lexus grill to mate well....(are you trying to guise your camry for an es??)

or go aftermarket.....

Thanks to everyone for their answers.

To "jhbhatia", No, I'm not trying to make my new Camry look like a Lexus ES. I just don't care for the looks of Camry grille. I think it's cheap-looking and not in keeping with the rest of the car.

i was hoping the solara would fit, but the grille would leave a huge gap. if anything, i thought the solara bumber would fit better than the ES.
