What is the deal with is300 wheels?

Some say they fit, some say they don't. Some had to add spacers, some didn't have to, some were told there wasn't even enough room for spacers and that the wheel would not fit at all. I just wanna make sure if the wheel will fit my 96' cam DX before I spend 100s of dollars, and not be stuck with wheels that I can't put on my car. Does anyone have any proof they will fit on a 96' not just what they heard? IF they fit on another year model of the third gen, will they fit on a 96' because the hub, caliper, suspension, bolt pattern are all the same?

it'll fit....you'll need spacers for the back tho.....10mm I think? not sure....ask ppl who are running them, like ekam

do u need spacers or does it make it look better? is it because of the drum brake or the suspension....on an older post someone didn't need any spacers at all i think it was ratko?
