Question Front Seat Swapability

hi. my factory gen 2 seats are getting a bit old. i want to put some new seats in it, but i dont wanna go for expencive bucket seats. my question is, seeing that most other toyota bits are fairly interchangeable, would the seats out of, lets say a gt starlet (rails and all) bolt straight into position in my camry? the reason for this is over here, unless it bolts up to the same holes, it needs to be enginner certified to be legal and is generally a pain in the rear. anyone that has done a toyota seat swap that could gimme some help would be showered in gifts...

cheers.

you saw the Starlet GT seats for sale on toymods? i'd say measure how far apart the 4 (?) bolt holes your seat are and then ask the seller to measure his on the the rails. it would give you some idea i reckon.
