camry going 140mph. haha

i was out the other night around town with a bunch of friends,these are smart guys with fast cars by the way(wrx pushing 20psiboost on stock turbo and internals, a gsr with a b20 typeR, a 15 second civicex.. etc ect i was by far the slowest car out that night, besides the ex all the other cars run in the 13's and 14's. anyway the crew of full ricers, i mean rice underglows and all pulls up and starts asking if we wanna race and stuff and were like wtf, there was a cougar that they claim runs 14.1 haha 4banger with intake and exhaust. a 8something 3z turbo which is fully has, which they claim runs 13.8 a camry and some old ass civic. they are telling us all this bs and i could go on forever but the point is the guy with the camry comes up to me and our convo was something like this

him- u wanna race?
me- like what drag race?
him- no just race down by sandys(a straitaway)
me- so then yea drag race.
him-well if thats what you wanna call it. anyway lets race it will be fun
me- well lets see you have a v6 i have a 4 and am rolling on 18inch ssr's how is
even gonna be a race, we have the same car and you have 2 more
cylinders no deals. maybe if we race somewhere with turns my car has
some suspension work.
him- wtf suspension work, why did you get rid of the stock suspension it is
awesome
me- no its not what are you talking about.
him-yea when im going 140 my car only feels like its going 20
me- wait wait you took this stock except for muffler camry to 140, i dont thinkso
there is no way the stock tires and suspension can handle much less the
motor pull that hard

I think that camry driver was ricer himself...was the camry his or his mom's. Bottom line...love what you drive..and LEARN what you drive (more than anything).

i had mine doing 180km/h (whatever that is in mph), it felt fast but it was still pretty stable.. my friend was sitting in the back sleeping and my other friend who sat on the passenger side freaked out

I've been to 120mph in my Gen5, then I run out of road (it's a practically desserted area). No way I'm gonna try that on the freeway, the Vic's the cops have are faster than me.

sundays i get off work at midnight and on the way home i have the longest straight stretch, the last half being divided, and love to just cruise. havn't really pushed it, got goin 170 last week. im pretty sketch about deer tho, so i ususally only go bout 140
