Gaskets

What and who makes good gaskets (head, throttlebody, intake manifold, etc)? I heard that the copper one's aren't that good, but I am open to enlightment.

Also, since the head is off the car, what are the best methods to get it's nooks and crannies cleaned up?

BTW, its for a Gen3, I4. Thanx.

I would stick with a stock Toyota headgasket unless you have a reason to use something else. Toyota has a metal headgasket for the 5S-FE.

All the other ones you can use stock Toyota gaskets or something like Felpro.

My friend had a set of copper headgaskets. O-ringed the block, sealed around the water jackets with hylomar,arp head studs, and it leaked water like a bitch. They suck.

Have it hot tanked.
