I'm not sure if this question really pertains to the "offsets" topic, but I was wondering if you could put Nissan wheels on Toyota cars. I wanted to put Maxima rims on my car (92 Camry DLX V6). It had the same bolt pattern (5x4.5/5x114.3), but the guy I was going to buy them from said they would not fit. He did not go into explaining why though in his email. He said they fit 1989-2006 Nissan Maxima, 2002-2006 Nissan
Altima, and 1996-2005 Nissan Quest. Do they not fit because you can't put different Makes of rims on other Makes or is it the offset maybe? Another question I have is, can you put SUV rims on a car, for example my Camry? Also, can you put Lexus rims on Camrys with no problem?
