I want to clear up some stuff about my prevous post.

There was a positive/negative mix of comments in the reply.

First of all, I was wrote that post with a humorous context in mind. I didnt realize that some of you would take it so negatively.

1) Drifting/Sliding in school parkin lot. In empty places where there are no cars and people around within a pretty good radius.

2) Drifting around in the neighborhood. Before i did a slide i made sure that there were no people or cars on the road. On the turns i only drifted them if the opposite side was visible so i could see oncoming road conditions. And where i did do the drift it was only around 15mph at most.

3) The WRX guy ran overboost to blow his motor, therefore runnin over spec. My car is completely STOCK. Even if i drive it hard, wouldnt the car still be running within spec? I didnt pass the redline or anything.

Some of you guys took my "supposedly" humorous post negatively. I DO check around to make sure no cars, people, or cops =P before i pull any crazy stuff. Im not just sliding around the corners blindly. Some other times i even get a friend to check around the corner for cars/people before i do that stuff.

Oh yea, driving hard yes i know its bad and that time i blew the engine i was prepared to pay for the motor myself, but not the 6g's the dealer was asking. I would of taken it to another shop to get it fixed or something if the dealership didnt tell me about the warranty.

I hope this clears up some of the issues from you guys that took that post negatively.

ok i just read the full deal and the fact that you tried to make it funny that you were drifting in public places was dumb as shit. you drifting alright..in neighborhoods no.

take up autocrossing. or do it at a track.
