2nd Generation Electrical - Window Motor

My driver's side rear window doesn't work. It's a switch problem because I have dealt with it before and the motor is good. My window is stuck partway down.

I am trying to jump the power supply directly to the motor (switch is disconnected) so I can get the window back up.

I think the power supply to the motor is the green wire and the red is the ground. Can someone confirm this? So, if I connect the 1 of the 2 green wires from the plug to the prong that goes to the green wire on the motor and ground the other prong that goes to the red wire on the motor it should move the window, right?

Thanks.

Maybe the wiring is frayed to the window motor, especially where it goes from the body to the door itself through the rubber cover, there is a lot of flexing on this wiring after all.

2nd Generation

No, I know it is the master switch that is bad. When this happened many years ago I connected the power line directly to the motor and could move the motor. Then I left the switch and power to this window disconnected. The car had some work done after it was stolen and the shop must have hooked it back up.

Anyway, I checked the elctrical diagram and it looks like the blue (middle) wire is the hot line, so I think if I connect that to one prong of the plug from the window motor and ground the other prong it should work.

EDIT:

As I thought. The blue (middle) wire on the plug is the power. Connect that to one of the prongs on the motor plug and ground the other plug. This will move the window in one direction. Reverse the connections and the window moves in the other direction.
