Working for clear headlight lens

Hey Guys,
I have been looking for and working for clear headlight lens replacement for the gen3. I don't like the OEM "iced" lens, so hopefully i can find it.

I found something headlight covers: http://216.109.67.253/keystone/commo...cclear_gen.jpg What do these look like, will they work as a replacement? Thanks.

Tell you what........it makes no sense for me to tell Gen. 3 guys how to clear out the front lense if I've never done it for that car before....so I'm going to buy a headlamp...clear it out, and I'll post the results.

thanks dj

Wow, thank you DJ, you are the MAN. That would be GREAT, because if i can do that, i would then make projectors w/halos, and then buy the HID's from you (of course). Thanks for helping a Gen3 brother out. I really appreciate it.

there was someone else on this board looking for a guy who had hid's and clear lenses on a gen 3/3.5...i think they said he had them custom fabbed or something

cleaning the stock lengs will get some of the yellow out but it won't be a clear/euro lens like khandoms or the newer cam's...

keep searching though and let us know if you find something

I'm not talking about cleaning the lense.....I mean actually getting rid of the texture. I'll find a way.

i just meant getting rid of the texture, as you said. I don't need it to be crystal clear, because it's not going to be. So i will still try to find the clear lens replacement.

In the mean time, keep at it DJ. I can't wait to see this, thanks so much for your help. I appreciated it greatly.
