thanks
No, but if it is anything like Texas, you got a helluva hefty fine on your hands. However New Mexico on the other hand is like half price compared to Texas!
heh, went 30 over the limit one day, i only got a warning, such luck, but man, you gotta know when to speed man, in the city no real point, cuz you just gonna hit the next red light a little faster, save the speed for the highway, or the speed track man, we have a little "pit" where the cops like to hide, i usually slow down when i get to it. but mostly cops are pretty cool in the highways, sometimes i tear down the highway going 100mph, on a nice clear day, the state troopers just usually looks up and let's me go. one day i was racing this red lexus (i have a stock 93 camry btw) and the trooper pulled the red lexus over, that dumbass didn't see the trooper and passed the trooper going over 100

I know for sure its under 200$
Isn't there a rule about a certain mile over the limit?
Haha, good luck with that one. My first ticket was 72 in a 60 and I got a 160$, and my second was 90 in a 50 and it was 450$(I have til nov8th of next year to pay it). Just to let you know if you fight it and lose your ticket's going to be like 3x what it would be if you admitted it. If you are able to take driving school take that route, it'd probably be cheapest.
Yeah, tickets suck. My friend's records are terrible. 125 in a 65 in an Eclipse. 77 in a 40, 69 in a 40mph zone( 89 5.0 stang) and 65 in a 45; 60 in a 40(2nd gen integra with jdm gsr swap) And theres plenty more including my friend with a gsr powered crx ( I can't remember how bad his were). The bottom line is just be careful. Watch where you speed and more importantly try not to speed too much.

go to court & plea bargain, it's well worth the time and trouble. Usually gets reduced to 0 points and a small fine, often less than the ticket price. I had a $120 ticket reduced to $56 in court fees and a 6 month deal, like get another in 6 months and have points added back on for both tickets.
No insurance increase here.

Here's the key to not getting a ticket while speeding:
Most the time when you see cops on the side of the road, they don't have their radar on. Usually they are just doing some quick paper work.....talkin to their mistriss on the cell phone, or drinking some Starbucks.
The key is not to press on the break pedal when you pass a cop, just let off the gas and let the car slow down on its own...otherwise they'll see the break lights and pull you over just based on guilt. I don't know how many times I've seen cars just break almost to a halt and the cop pounces on them.
9 out of 10 times I've passed a cop speeding, I never got pulled over, the 1 time I got pulled over, it was a warning for 75 in a 60 zone.
That's why sometimes you'll pass a cop going 90mph and he doesn't even move, but you're stuck with a fast beating heart and itchy armpits waiting for him to pull out at any second....and he never does.

Maybe in Houston. Sure most of the time when they're pulled over on the side of the road they're doing paperwork, but in Palmdale there's a CHP station, and all those guy do all day is write tickets. The first time I got pulled over there was a motorcycle CHP sitting down the road like a 1/2 a mile and pulled in front of me with his lights on when I was still a good 1/8 mile away(good thing too because by the time I saw him I was going a good 100). The second time the chp was roaming roads out in the middle of nowhere and I was going up a hill and he was on the top of it. We both reached the top of the hill at the same time and he clocked me really fast, this time I was doing about 110 but he got me doing 90. Busted a U and pulled me over about a mile down the road, took him that long to catch up to me hahahah.
