AEM Cold Air Worth it??

Hey im kind of a newbie to all the performance stuff but im lookin to get more giddyup outta my cam(stock 6 wit just a system)I'm 16 so i don't have infinite resources but i wanna increase performance would a AEM Cold air be worth it? and whats the diff between the AEM cold air and the AEM short ram intake?

O and another thing would the Hella low-beam projectors on www.ctmotorsport.com be worth the 60 bucks or whatever? i already have some silverstar headlight bulbs.

depends...it'll make your intake louder and it'll give you a few more ponies...what do you want to do with your car though

the cai reaches further down and near your wheel well to be introduced to colder air (colder air = more dense = more air in combustion chamber + more fuel = more power)...the short ram does not suck in such cold air, but the intake tube is larger so you get more air...maybe it does more, i'm not too sure

it won't make you blazingly faster but it may be a little noticeable...if you really wanna start modding the 6cylinder, it's a good start

i'll let someone else field the light question since that isn't my area

I got the AEM intake on mine. If you don't have a lot of money its a good place to start. Where in KS are u located and what year car u got? As for the Hella, they are great if you are doing custom projector.. but nothing for your stock headlights..

thanx for the replies o and im in overland park so i might be a little too far away since your in lawrence, but everything is stock on the engine so i was thinkin that i would start wit this cuz my finances won't let me go absolutely crazy or else i would
