okie i know that a 5sfe is in a 91-95 mr2 n/a
and i know us gen 3 have 5sfe

so how are the mr2 guys with the n/a engine gettin 400+ hp?

i mean i dont feel like switchin to a 3gste

and i plan on jumpin on a 5sfe turbo...but still...

does anyone think some of the mods the mr2 guys are doin are interchangeable?

if im wrong...flame me all day ; )

It's impossible for a NA 5sfe to be making 400hps. Got to be a turbo or a SC.

I may be wrong but I think 9?-98 Celicas have the same engine as well.

I think Toyota Officianado Andrew have to enlighten us on this one. :smile:

ok i kinda messed up a bit...
it started off as a n/a mr2 5sfe
but i meant
cant we do most/all the same mods this guy did to pull 350+ hp out of our 5sfe

Sure, a good 15 pounds on a turbo, a good shot of NOS, along with custom cam profiles should do the trick. The high boost and NOS means you also have to beef up the internals. That's some major dough-age!
