I went to Kauffman Tire today to get some prices on some tires, and the guy was checkin out my car a lil, and i never even noticed it, but I told him the 18s were rubbin a lil on the side, figured Id need 215s instead of 225s. But He saw something. The front driver wheel was almost shifted towards the front of the car. Otherside, same distance from the tire to each side of the fender, you see what I'm sayin? He said it was my control arm, maybe it was bent, but I looked at it, briefly, and it didnt seem bent. So thats question one, could that be the only reason.
Question 2: IS there anywhere on the net where i can find some longer lug bolts for my Gen 2, along with some spacers? That might help with the rubbing. And anyone other than Stickydiljoe got 18s on their gen 2? Cuz i was goin on this hill neer my house, and when i hit the bottom, the top of the tires scraped. Sticky said his didnt, not sure if neone else had this problem. And if i remember, his was lowered. I'm ridin on stock springs now, uncut or nething, and i cant figure it out. Neway i can fix it without goin to lower profile tires? I wanna stay at 40 to keep what smooth ride i got left. Can i get longer bolts on the struts that go into the engine bay and space those out? Far fetched, and it seems dangerous. Someone suggested it to me...

Sounds to me that you're running 225/40-18 tires, which technically is too big for a Gen2 Camry:
Tire Size Comparison
Size Side Rad Dia Circum Revs Diff
195/60-15 - 4.6in - 12.1in - 24.2in - 76.1in - 833 - 0.0%
