under engine splash guard

Hello, I'm new here. Just purchased a '02 SE V6 solara and need help with some questions. I bought my car from the dealer and its certified and everything, but the under engine splash guard is missing. I asked the sales guy and he said that he guarantees that that model doesn't come with it. Is he BSing me or what?? Any SE V6's out there?? If the model does usually come with it, do they have to replace it because its certified?

I know this is a bad question to ask, but I just want to know from the enthusiast that actually know about these cars.
