Injectors

Hey guys i was looking for as much possible info on the stock 5sfe Injectors.

I'm looking at upgrading the injectors but need to know stock specs, like flow rate, high/low impedance, and side/top feed. Thanx for the info guys.

Oh yea i know the MKIV NA Supra injectors fit, but i just want to have as many options as possible.

do you know who has used those and been able to tune them? The SAFC only tunes to +or- 50% so the largest that the safc will tune for accurately for the 5sfe sould be 420cc (210cc x 2)

how much boost should the MKIV Supra NA Injectors (310 cc suposedly about 360cc at our fuel pressure) be able to support?

Boost is not equal for different turbos. Those injectors might handle 16 psi on a stock CT-26 for example, but would only handle less than 6 psi on a larger turbo. Each pound of boost will have completely different amount of airflow for small and large turbos.

If you want a good answer, you should have asked how much HP those injectors would handle instead. To find how much HP, you can always go to RCEngineering's website for injector flow rates and HP rates. They have a nice HP/flow rate caluator there.

http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm

The SAFC would only correct up to 420cc injectors (based on your calculations), but you can always run slightly lower fuel pressures to compensate for the extra 20cc/min of fuel so the car would idle properly

Tony, yea i realized that after i asked the question. I had totally forgoten about the RCeng worksheet

About the Fuel pressure....what do you think would be a good pressure to compensate for the extra 20cc?
