VSC Light on a 07 Camry XLE V6 w/Smart Key

VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) light:
My issue is with the Owners Manual, Toyota USA and the Toyota Dealer that sold me my Car in February 07.
Toyota USA Rep and the owners manual state that the VSC light should come up when i press the Egine On/Off button.
Well, i only see two light coming up : ABS and right next to it one that looks like a car with skid marks (slip control)
Local Toyota Service Tech told me that the Symbol that looks like a car with skid marks it the VSC light on my car.
He also told me that the real VSC light will come up on models like the Hybrid and that the owners manual has to acomodate all 07 Camry's Models.
Who is right?
Is there any physical harware i should look for under the hood?

The VSC light is the icon on your dash with the skidmarks. when you lose traction it will blink intermittently letting you know that it is activated....

I lost traction on ice a few days ago and it happened like you said.
Icon flashing and a sound that reminded me a stop watch.
