sup guys, i used a angled drill with a matching 27/64 dril bit. then hand tapped the hole with the 12x1.25 tap. then screwed the sensors right in.
yes ratko i drilled out the existing two holes. that were already there.
i was gonna splice the harness and just run i knock sensor but i decided to just run both.
i had a thought after the whole thing was done that kinda made me mad at myself. ok, i had one blwon knock sensor , a new one costed me 120u.s., now instead of paying someone 200 to help me why couldnt i have just bought 2 knock sensors and a new harness and kept the old sensors where they were and just changesd the harness and put my 2 new sensors in the front?
i would have saved 150 bucks and wouldnt have had to take off the supercharger, or the lower intake manifold!
So for you guys that want to relocate after you blow your sensor/sensors, its gonna be a lot cheaper to just leave the old ones under the intake manifold and buys two new ones and a new harness.
my car feels as fast now with the 5.5 pulley as it did with the 7
