ok i feel stupid asking this question, but i was stumped for a second so i have to ask. Im not new to cars, nor am i a pro... i just came back in from looking at my friend's 5sfe and identified everything in the engine bay except for one thing....
its the black box to the left of the battery in the front. It has two wires i think going in and out of it, and is as big as the battery, no i'm not talking about the fuse box, the other plastic box, closer towards the middle of the car...what the hell is that....i drew a blank and couldn't tell what it was and then i didn't have enough time to take the cover off.....sorry if this is a dumb question, but you only learn if you ask.
the one that is to the lefto of the battery is a fuse realay box? The fuse relay boxes say so on them. The fuse relay boxes are the two on the right. Anyone else? I couldn't take the cover off when i tried so i doubt its a fuse relay box.
yup, Cruisey Control...should be a bolt on the lower left side near the front, when your looking at it and two plastic pin type things near the back on each side. if ya want to get it off.
but yeah, to answer your question, all you need is a non cruise control throttle cable
the only ppl i've heard of that have done this are ppl after the lightest camry ever, such as racerhex, or ppl fitting some snails in the tight camry v6 engine compartment
Well when looking at the enging bay today and thinking about the best way to fit a turbo and intercooler pipng in there the CC box definitely dampers the best routing possibility. Do you have any pics of turbo 5sfe with a fmic and that box still there? I'd be interested in seeing how they did it.
