3rd Generation Cracked Rim! Repairable???

I recently bought these, 18" Pacer rims used. Upon examing each wheel at home I came across 2 thin cracks and a "repaired" dent on the rear lip of 1 rim. By "rear lip" I mean the lip without the spokes touching it. My friend says that it will cost a decent amount of money to get this wheel repaired, then powder coated and that it might not really be worth it. I am thinking about bringing all the wheels to a wheel shop or something and get them looked at by a professional, but I don't know if they charge anything for checking rims out. So here are pics of the damage:

Crack #1 located on rear lip of rim: Angle 1

Angle 2: *Note* The crack ends where the black tar crosses the crack. It seems longer cuz of the reflection.

"Repaired" rear lip damage: Does this look repaired or just an attempt at repairing it?

Any suggestions as to how bad the damage is and potential costs of repairs would be great! Also if you could name some shops that check out/repair rims that would great too!

Thanks to all!

shops don't charge anything to look at your rims- all it takes for them is one glance to tell you if it's "repairable" or not

though long story short, ALL rims are repairable regardless, even if it's missing a chunk out of it...it's a question of if they want to deal with it or not

as for prices, I have no idea bout how it's like in MD, but back in TO, for a structural job such as that, it'll usually run about $200 a rim to fix and then repaint or powdercoat

yea that kind of repair will not be cheap...especially because they will have to get that to seal properly again
