How to break a 2nd Gen Wheel lock

OK, as some of you know, I was tryin to figure out to hotwire a 2nd gen v6, cuz someone abandoned it (and yes, i checked with the DMV), and i can hotwire it, but it wont start. So i was gonna tow it with my dads truck back to my house to see whats wrong with it, but i need to break the wheel lock. Any ideas on how? Haynes really dont say too much.

to break locks, you gotta either smash it (the most crude way) ! or you can bring it to a garage, and have them use a lock breaker. OR if you want to use a hammer and a chisel. and just work at it slowly ! might take you..errr...ALL DAY ! but hey, its worth it rite?!

Once you get past 15mph it should disengage by itself.

Actually if he wants the drive wheels to spin, after 15mph they will, When I think of wheel locks, I think of the drive wheels locking up when the car is off, and once you get the car going 15mph the wheel will unlock themselves.

I do repos too!

I think he is referring the the steering wheel lock. Personally I've never tried it before but I know that some steering wheel locks can be broken if you turn the wheel hard enough.

k i talked to a kid that jacks cars, and like he said there are two ways, one to drill thru the Keyhole and itll just remove it, secondly to cut the Steering wheel where the lock is, like a small slit, and just bend it back a bit remove the lock and there u go.

if you are talking bout the steering wheel lock, just put the car in neutral, take off the handbrake, and have someone roll the car, and as they are doing that, turn the wheel. it only needs to be rolled for a second. i've done it to my Gen 2 a number of times.
