nj meet result

well this is how my day went. first i got up and washed and waxed the old camry and vacuumed her out. then i talked to my neighbor who has a 94 galant and told him that we might be starting a car club. he said he would roll by the meet. so i pick up my friend brian and we go to the parking lot at 12:30. so we wait. about half an hour later my negihbor comes. so me and him and brian are in the parking lot with out cars on in ACC with our radios on full blast just listening to music. so hours go by. Jon calls me on my celli and says he'll be a little late, no prob. so we wait. my neighbor leaves cause he had to get a hair cut. so jon comes. we talk and its cool. then i go to turn my car on. remember its been 3hrs since i've been at the parking lot. my battery is dead. and guess wat i didn't have jumper cables. neither did Jon. so i went to like two stores and they didn't have any. so Jon drives me and brian to Strauss and buy jumper cables and he takes me back to my car. we get it started. then we went to a proformance shop and look at rims and stuff. no i couldn't turn my car off because i wasn't sure if the battery was charged enough so i left brian in the car. we look around the shop. JOn and I decide that no one else is coming so i direct him back to the gardenstate and he dips. thats my day. and to top it off, i need to have my oil changed(idle rpm is under 1000rpms) and i need new brake pads

what time did you leave?? if i didn't go the wrong way i probably would have gotten there before you left. i felt really bad not getting there in time. i wasted my day just drivin tryin too find the place.

lets see...i got there at 2:30. i think we took off to get the jumpers at 3:00. oh well, next time...maybe when the weather's nicer.

oh ya, i found out that my air filter box was open coz i didn't snap it up good enough since i was rushing to finish my oil change. i drove up to the "meet" 40 miles with my box cracked open. i'm kinda pissed now that i think about it.
