Talking My SV21 on dyno day.....

what do you guys think?

I got 60kWs at the wheels UNTUNED

Then i got 66kWs at the wheels with a standard 2" cat-back

And now i have this with 2" headers, cat-back, hiflow muffler and a K&N pannle filter......

I still have the original cat so maybe i should get a hi-volume/hi-flow cat....

Wow... were the 2" headers custom made, or is there a company that manufactures them outback?

1kw is roughly 1.35hps

the dyno reading is just 1hp under 100hps at the wheels.

its not a bad improvement from stock, just running a cat back with 2 headers and a k&n air filter.

do you have cold air intake???

yeah we have 3sfe's in the SV21's over here.

The headers are made by GENE or GIENE somethin like that.(can't be bothered to go look:o)

no i dont have a cold air intake. the SV21's are little biatches for air induction, the engine bay is very hot(ie. no pod filter for me ) and the stock airbox piping is tiny! It's so hard to get around the headlights and radiator without cutting a hole SOMEWHERE!

is it a good idea to get headers for an auto???

i have no idea on how to put cai into my engine bay, except to have an evo style bonnet vent over the air box which i'm going to replace with a pod filter later on.
