How many MPG are you averaging?
With my car (see siggy), I have filled it about a dozen times since I bought it, and the lowest was 24 MPG (little freeway driving and some learning how to drive a stick driving) and I got 28 MPG with a 2/3 freeway driving and 1/3 street driving. Even at that, there is a lot of construction going on on the freeways and I will be going 80, slow to 50-60, then get back up to 80, add some hills to that, also.
I bet I could get in the low 30's on a roadtrip.
Reguardless, I was expecting 20-24 at the best, but I am pushing 30 MPH with plenty of street driving and not really holding back on the gas (I could push the car much harder, but this is NOT my project car and it needs to be reliable.)
What sort of numbers are you getting?
