so i was cruising along rt 50 behind this tacoma when out of nowhere a pebble or rock crack my windshield. what do you think it would cost to get a entirely new windshield?

I had that happen to my 2 year new windshield too, just a couple of weeks ago. If your stone chip is small like mine is I would wait until it does develop into a growing crack. Unless you'd feel more comfortable replacing it now, because they aren't cheap at all.

A lot of insurance companies give you one new windshield replacement per year. What you can do is bring it to an aftermarket company, and ask them to phone your insurance company for you to see if you're covered...if so, then it's free. The place my bro went to actually cracked it even more with a hammer or something, and then took a pic of it!

You have to have comprehensive coverage though, right?
