HKS pop off valve spring on the way!

I just ordered the 7-12 PSI HKS pop off valve spring to replace the 5-7 PSI one that comes with the Burien kit. I should have it by the end of next week hopefully! I keep ya'll posted on seat of the pandts performance gains. BTW, the new spring was $21, and I'm gonna try 8 PSI, but will probably run 7.

It's finally here! I'm going to put it in as soon as the engine cools enough to remove the pop off valve. I'll keep you all posted on seat of the pants horsepower gains when I increase the boost!

Took me ten minutes to install. Almost burnt the crap out of my hands though! 8 PSI is GREAT! Now I have enough boost to pull all the way through the quarter mile! Not much gain on bottom end, but the top end power is where the kit was lagging. Now I need an intercooler!

man, just make sure that you throw on an intercooler before running that 10psi too long. You'll melt your pistons, ask 88LE.

Burien ran 12PSI on stock internals and did no damage until 14PSI was reached. I'll be careful. Trust me, I take care of my baby!
