Check ebay or buy/sell of other boards (ie.SolaraGuy, CMPL, SC3).

Try and get the Solara kit if possible. The SC itself is identical except the addition of a TRD strut tower brace which is not included with the Camry kit.

The stock 4psi pulley is the most reliable. Alot of peeps have gone to 5.5 without difficulties. Anything above that, you risk blowing knock sensors which are $300 a pcs and damaging internals.

You can buy it directly from TRD through your Toyota dealer. I have a 2000 Camry LE-V6 with an automatic. I have a supercharger that was installed by the dealer. I love it. No other modifications had to be made. If the dealer installs the S/C it is coverev by the remainder of your powertrain warranty. You can't go wrong with that. My dealer installed it for $450 and it only took 1 afternoon. I made a deal with my dealer that they would give me a loaner for the day as part of the deal and they did it. I guess if you're spending almost $4000 they don't mind letting you use a car!

do you feel that the amount of money you paid for it and the installation was worth it?

Well, if something goes wrong in the first few weeks, they will probably take VERY good care of you...

It is a lot of money to spend. Granted, you can find them cheaper than what I paid. Going directly through TRD will cost the most. I didn't mind paying the $450 for letting the dealer install it. I have no mechanical ablity, so, that was well worth it. I guess your question is can you justify paying $3200 for a little more speed. I can say yes. It has been a lot of fun to drive. I see the most gains on the freeway. Don't buy one and expect to beat Cobra SVT's off the line. Also, you will need to get rid of your stock tires! When I take off I get tons of wheel spin. Other than the tire wear I haven't had other problems. I have read about some people having problems. I haven't changed the pully's as I am pleased with the performance right out of the box. Also, I was told by the dealer to not change your air intake system other than using a high flow filter by TRD or K & N, etc. A cold air box will void the warranty. Having the S/C makes your car unique. I'd like to hear what other S/C owners think about theirs.
