I'm watching Smash Lab right now, and they just destroyed a 2nd gen V6 LE to simulate a car crash to figure out how to create fewer fender-benders. All I can say is..... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

don't forget when mythbusters wrecked a camry to test out a myth about rear windshields. And they also tore up a perfectly good classic toyota as well.

And how about when they used the same car for the mileage myths? They cut the fuel line and did some ghetto rigging to it as well.

Yeah... I think that classic Toyota was a Corona. Well... I took pride in knowing that the front end did not look as bad as the accident would suggest, and the SAAB 9000 looked like total hell.

Well they did it again this week, but this time they ran a train into another 2nd gen in Fillmore, CA. It looked like they had pulled the engine out of this one. They're also destroying a bunch of Crown Victorias, not just the police cars...
