i'm planning to get the CAI made by AEM for my Gen3 (94 LE V6), i know that it's best to get the bypass value too in case of puddles...
how far is the filter placed behind the front bumper? is it far back enough to not get any water in? or is it like right infront of the bumper that if i drive in snow or rain, the filter will definitly suck in any water i drive through?

does anyone with CAI have pictures taken from underneath the front bumper? so i know where the filter is placed?

sorry for asking so many questions. just want to learn more

I don't have a cai but if you e-mail aem before getting the kit they should be able to tell u the specs.

The cai won't go any further then the pipe they provide. Should be a quick install.

I got a CAI on my gen3 and its like right between ur bumper/fender, right below your corner lights and a little to the right of it. Hope you can picture it out
