Hello Everyone,
My name is Mike. I have been around the forums for quite some time now seeing everyone's AWESOME Camry's (ALex,Tony,Wraith,RacerHex, Phi,Ratko,jwa276, just to name a few) , then i take a look at mine....a beater !

(please don't be affended if i didn't put your name on the list, this was off the top of my head!)

Well my big break has come. I have recently joined a local car club "Hyper Speed"(stupid name ), which is sponsored by 3 Companys. And i am going to hopefully going to have a chance at making it big with my Cam.

My plans:

~3vzfe v6
~Manual 5-spd Swap
~Blackwidow or Shogun Bodykit (i'm thinking Shogun)
~ct26 turbo

Or

~3s-Gte
~Garrett TB0344 turbo


Please forgive me but i do not know what the best engine/turbo combo there is. I am currently reading up about Engines and Turbos (howstuffworks.com ) I am new to this, and i would like to educate myself more.

Please give me input on what i could possibly do. Thanks for all your help.

cool...I'm in a car club...and we're going to have a car show over here in Houston at Reliant Arena...a big arena...anyways we talk to the big companies...hks..greddy..etc...and a bunch of companies are all going to be there, and so are car manufacturers...they're bringing all their best cars....we got it all plan out and actually the place is rented out for a date in July 2006...I know its a long time, but we're trying to make it perfect, and my car will get redone up...and anyways good luck to you dude, cuz I know Ima need it...and if all goes good and well...I will be getting major hookups...so i'll keep you guys informed

Um as of right now we have 3 sponsors, and i am not sure but they are: God Speed Performance(local shop), Exotic Coaches(HUMMER LIMO!), and UPS. I think it is SO funny that we are besing sponsored by UPS especially, but free $$MONEY$$ for my Cam, i'm IN!

Ya know what? I could talk to God Speed Performance, and TRY TRY TRY to get Projectors perhaps?!?! I will talk to them this weekend, and we'll see how it goes.

By "dj" who are you talking about? Im getting closer and closer to my projectors. Id much rather keep the cash going twards Camrys, and parts gunning for Camry, rather than throw it to a company BTW speaking of companies, I got word from my local shop about a guy that only deals in Honda Acura. Dj, if you read this I can talk to the guy for prices PM me bro.

well both options are very doable. the 6cyl turbo option has been done and I believe Tony is the person to ask most about that. Now the 3sgte swap is the one that has been done most and i would say is more trial-proofed. Several people have gone ahead and done the3sgte engine swap or swapped several 3sgte parts onto a 5sfe. You didn't say if you had an I4 or the 6cyl. If you have the 5SFE then the stock 3sgte manifold, turbo, and downpipe assembly will bolt on with very minimal modification, which also means that aftermarket parts for the 3sgte also have a very good chane of fitting on the 5sfe. There are a couple threads that are going on on all this info, do a quick search and you'll be able to read alot more than i could ever type, hope it helps.
