Camry & Solara LoungeDiscussion area for every generation of Toyota's family car, the Toyota Camry. Lexus ES250/300 owners welcome! Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance and more.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently purchased a 2003 Camry and hope to learn a lot from everybody. (I've already posted in the Me, Mines, Mods thread).
I had a couple quick questions which I looked for and couldn't find. Can I replace the 15" tires and rims with 16" tires and stock rims without a lot of modification?
Also, are there any other good forums besides this one (by far the most active)? I've already found CamryMan's Passing Lane, www.camryworld.com, and the Yahoo groups. Are there any others? I would like to get active and find as many boards as possible.
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from everyone here...
Brian

you can swap wheels with no mods, as long as the bolt pattern is the same and the offset is pretty much the same. im not sure what the offset is for the gen 5 camry, but the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 mm or 5x4.5in.
Wow. Thanks for the quick replies, especially about the wheels. I checked out the links and they're all good stuff. It looks like there's enough info out there to keep me busy for a while
